A company can increase revenue while becoming more dependent on its founder.
It can hire more people while creating less clarity. It can introduce more technology while increasing complexity. It can create more processes without improving how work actually happens.
Eventually, the gap between where the company is going and what its current operation can support begins to matter. Emunah Oaks exists to help understand and eventually close that gap.
Meet Vera Yanney
My approach to operations was shaped through hands-on experience inside a growing transportation company.
As the business grew, I found myself working through operational problems that didn't always come with obvious answers—from building recruiting capability and navigating compliance requirements to creating processes, organizing information, solving emerging operational issues, and transferring knowledge to other team members.
That experience taught me something that continues to shape my work: The answer isn't always obvious at the beginning. You have to understand the business first. Ask the right questions. Find the real constraint. Determine what the company needs. Build intentionally. Learn from implementation. And ultimately make sure the capability belongs to the organization.
Today, I'm developing that thinking further through Emunah Oaks and Founder Freedom Lab.
